Make an easy and stylish fabric coaster with the library’s sewing machine. Already working on a sewing project and looking for some company while you create? Use our machines to work on your own in-progress piece. Sewing machines and basic textile-oriented tools will be available. All skill levels welcome. Open to ages 10 and older. Civic Saturday logo

Come together in civic community, be inspired and encouraged to reflect and connect, and create new civic traditions that are joyful and communal. Through songs, readings and discussions, local artists, community members and Anythink staff will share inspiration on the theme of civic resolutions: How can we individually and collaboratively contribute to the communities where we live? This event is free and open to all. 

This gathering is hosted in conjunction with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Census 2020 and Adams County Elections. Attendees will receive vouchers for 50 percent off upcoming performances of the play twenty50 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. 

Refreshments will be served. To help us provide refreshments and accommodations, please register in advance. 

Sign language interpretation will be available.

Civic Saturday was started by Citizen University in Seattle and is now hosted in more than 30 cities across the country.
