Pear still life

Discover the basics of creating interesting compositions on canvas through still life painting. We’ll paint a cozy piece for fall using props and light in The Studio. Learn about balance, sketching, and how to prep your paintings. It is not necessary to attend all programs. Space and supplies are limited; registration preferred. Learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator by creating a necklace using the tools and resources available in the Studio to create a gift for the holiday. We will be using the Glowforge to etch and laser cut your animal on basswood. Afterwards, you’ll be able to use acrylic paints to give your necklace some color. Enjoy watching multiple model trains as they travel through a wintery display of town and country settings. This is a special display made entirely of LEGO. Members of the Youth in Model Railroading Club will be on hand to answer questions and share information about their club, which is the only model railroad club exclusively for and by the kids.
