  • Nov. 21: A Twist on Watercolors – Draw with a white crayon and then paint over it to make a cool creation.
  • Nov. 28: Finger Friends – Transform Styrofoam balls, pipe cleaners, pom-poms and other supplies into a friend that sits on your hand.

This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents, and has multiple centers reflecting early-literacy skills (books, hands-on activities, crafts or music). Nov. 5 – Try It: Discover the wacky and wonderful world of science. This month, we will get messy and create our own slime.

Nov. 19 – Make It: Create a toy that you can play with! This month, we will build and launch mini paper rockets.

Nov 26 – Build It: We provide the Legos and building blocks; bring your imagination and see what you can create.

Write your novel with us! National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing on Nov. 1. The goal is to write a 50,000-word novel by 11:59:59pm on Nov. 30. Join others in literary abandon throughout the month of November. No registration necessary.
