What’s your home’s story? If you live in an older home, have you ever thought about those who lived there before you? How about the evolution of your home’s structure as it has gone through renovations? Or maybe you are curious if your home has a sordid past? Sara Dawson researches older homes to discover the historic significance of the people, place, architecture, and events that took place there to assist homeowners and associations applying for historic designations. She will discuss researching house histories and her role with Brighton’s Historic Preservation Commission. Space is limited; registration required.

Explore instruments with Heather Stenner from Enthusic Music Company. This is a hands-on class introducing a variety of instruments for young children to gain confidence while learning the foundations for reading music. BraveHeart - an American Red Cross Training Provider - will conduct this event, which will include information about infant and child choking rescue, CPR and basic first aid prevention and tips. The instructor, a licensed, experienced teacher, will conduct the training in a friendly, engaging atmosphere.
