Get involved and be heard by joining the Teen Advisory Board at Anythink Commerce City. Students from grades 5-8 are invited to discuss projects they’d like to see at the library. Snacks will be provided.
On the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, we host a general Crafternoon for all ages. Teens, tweens, families and children are welcome to create with assorted crafting supplies.
On the first and third Thursdays of the month, we host Bingo for Books for all ages. Teens, tweens, families and children are welcome to join in the Bingo fun, with books for prizes!
Use forensic science to solve a murder mystery. Analyze crime evidence such as blood samples, fingerprints and unknown powders, and learn how CSI agents use the scientific process to solve crimes. Hosted by the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Grades 6-12 welcome.
Back by popular demand, challenge your friends to a friendly battle to see who gets through an obstacle course the fastest. Grades 6-12 welcome.
Dress up like a zombie (or your favorite monster) and join us for a dance party! There will be a table set up with materials to help transform you into a zombie if you can’t find anything at home. Eat treats and have fun hanging out with creature and zombie alike.
Using face-painting kits, we’ll practice artistic skills on ourselves and each other. This program is intended for kids through 5th grade.
