Join us for something different every week! Maybe we’ll cook, play a game, do karaoke, craft, or see a performer. All ages welcome. No registration necessary.
Feb. 2: Karaoke Time - Grab that microphone and sing your favorite songs!
Feb. 9: Decorate sugar cookies to look like conversation hearts.
Feb. 16: Coding – Have fun guiding a programmable mouse through a maze that you create.
Feb. 23: Loom ‘n Loops – Create an old fashioned potholder with colorful fabric loops. You just have to weave over and under and you’ve got it made!
Join us after-hours for a special Hour of Code week experience. Teens and tweens in grades 6-12 are invited to get into the story and work together to solve coding and computational-thinking based challenges to escape a trap and save Harry Potter. Anythink York Street and the University of Colorado have partnered to offer an exciting opportunity for families. Join educators from CU to learn the basics of coding (computer programming) by playing with an easy-to-use app called Scratch Jr. A free brunch will be served at 10 am followed by coding fun for the whole family starting at 10:30 am. Appropriate for adults and kids ages 5 and up. Space is limited; registration is required for each adult and child.
