Do you want to help your grandparent, or other loved one, share their stories about growing up in the neighborhood? Are you a recent transplant, drawn to Denver from far away? Come tell us your tales, learn the basics of effective interviewing, and help us build an archive of oral histories for the library’s local history exhibit and for StoryCorps, a project of the US Library of Congress. Part of the Perl Mack Museum Project, a year-long program to develop a museum exhibit by, for, and about our community. 

Join us for a weeknight break from the grind of work and school. Little ones and their caregivers can enjoy a movie, snack, and accompanying art project. All ages welcome. 

Join other families for some good, old-fashioned gaming fun. We will have board and tabletop games of many varieties available to choose from, or bring your own. We’ll start a little earlier than normal so we have more time to play, but feel free to drop in when you can. Refreshments will be provided. Appropriate for families. No registration required.

Create a gift or piece of art as we raid the craft closet for supplies and have a freestyle crafting party. Snacks will be provided. Space is limited; registration is required for each participant.
