Swing by Anythink Perl Mack this month to check out our chicks. In collaboration with Adams County 4-H, we'll check in on fertilized chicken eggs in our incubator as they develop and hatch at the library. Life cycle activities will be available to take home for elementary-aged kids, while supplies last.

Unleash your inner actor and show your talent as we take turns reading a script from a light-hearted movie. We will provide the script and props to inspire your dramatic techniques. This program will be held on the digital platform Zoom and is intended for the whole family. After registering for the program, you will receive a link to the program with the email you provide.  We will notify registrants when the bag of props is ready to pick up at Anythink Huron Street.

Local piñata maker extraordinaire Maribel Arredondo of Mamibel Piñatas leads us through the process of creating our own candy cane holiday piñatas. The program will be held online using GoToMeeting, and supplies will be available to pick-up from Anythink Perl Mack beginning on Wednesday, December 2. A link to the program will be sent out via email to registrants. Supplies are limited and registration is required. One piñata supply kit per registration.

Watch the film, follow the script, and participate in movie magic. Join us for this virtual Family Movie Night as we watch the original Frogs-to-riches story. Experience the sights, sounds, smells, and humor of Kermit the Frog and Fozzie’s adventures as they travel to Hollywood to make it big as stars. Register online and pick up your interactive movie kit any time after December 1 at the Anythink Wright Farms branch. Be sure to include your email address when you register so that we can send you the link to our watch party. This movie is rated G and is appropriate for ages 6 and up.  We will have a limited number of DVD and Blu-ray copies of the movie available for check out at Anythink Wright Farms. You are also welcome to use your own copy or stream the movie using your favorite streaming platform. Kits are limited; registration required. Please visit our online calendar to register.
