Young, inquisitive minds are invited to take a journey through the Periodic Table of Elements. Elements make up everything around us, but what do you really know about them? Will magnesium, hydrogen, oxygen or helium burn? Liquid nitrogen is great for freezing things, but what other things can we do with it? Exploration Universe will show you what elements look like, learn some wild facts about them and see some amazing demonstrations of their properties. No registration required.

Join us for special programs intended for our youngest Anythinkers – the miniThinkers! We’ll provide a place to spend time with your little one in meaningful ways. Be ready to play, read, sing, talk or write as we explore early literacy concepts. Appropriate for ages birth-4 years.

Children in elementary school are invited to read to our wonderful dog volunteers. They join us on the third Saturday of each month. This is an excellent program for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dogs love to listen and they never criticize.
