While we’re apart, we can still make and appreciate art. Register online and pick up an art kit starting Monday, Feb. 1 at the Anythink Wright Farms branch. Follow the instructions included in the kit and have fun making your own piece of art. Registered participants are encouraged to attend the Virtual Gallery Showing on Feb. 24 as we come together virtually to show off our masterpieces. Appropriate for elementary school-age kids.

A sugar cookie is a delightful, sweet treat. But what if we take regular frosting and make it pickle flavored? Discover and decide if various flavors will or will not frosting. Try it at home, then connect with other teens creating their own frosting flavors in a virtual meetup. Appropriate for teens and tweens. Space is limited; registration required.

Learn the basics of video editing while creating a short encouraging video message for a loved one as we celebrate One Kind Word,  Anythink’s initiative to spread encouragement and kindness.

Join our virtual Happy Café – a space to discuss and encourage the importance of happiness and mental well-being via the 10 Keys for Happier Living, outlined by the international organization Action for Happiness. This month will be focused on the first key: Giving. For this program, we've invited The Meet Cart (powered by Betterish) to help us connect, reflect, and have fun by crafting Kindness Cards. Using DIY techniques, design yourself a personalized pack of cards that will serve as reminders, prompt an action, or simply encourage you to pay-it-forward. Together, discover new ways to build joy and create a more caring world.

Reminiscent of popular TV cooking shows, participants will be given a mystery box that contains several ingredients. How will you creatively incorporate them into your dish? Pick up a surprise Take & Make kit! This month will be a sweet little treat in celebration of Valentine’s Day. This kit includes all of the ingredients required to make a delicious surprise recipe at home. Supplies are limited; registration required to reserve your kit. If you are successfully registered, you will receive a phone call or e-mail with pick up details in advance.

Anythink Bennett and the Bennett Art’s Council present this fun needle felting workshop. Becky Zierer, local fiber artist and alpaca farmer, will teach participants this unique art form and allow them to create their own masterpiece. Kits will be available for pick up at Anythink Bennett between 2/9 - 2/11 and will include all needed materials and tools. Children under 15 years old that are interested in participating will need adult assistance. Cultivating Connection with Kat Vellos

Join us for this three-part series about creating fulfilling friendships in adulthood. The series opens with a fireside chat with Kat Vellos, author of We Should Get Together: The Secret to Cultivating Better Friendships and Connected from Afar: A Guide for Staying Close When You’re Far Away. The second and third sessions in the series will be interactive workshops designed to help you create closer friendships in your own life. You’re welcome to attend one, two, or all three of the sessions in this series. All workshops are held in Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Making and maintaining friendships in adulthood can come with challenges. Author and educator Kat Vellos joins us for a fireside chat on how to overcome those challenges – even in a pandemic. Discover ways to transform a sense of disconnection into authentic connections and fulfilling friendships.

Word is Bond: Harness the Power of Writing to Create Closer Friendships

In this one-hour interactive workshop, reflect on the value of past and present friendships in your life, and use the power of the pen to boost the bonds that matter to you. Participants should have loose paper (especially if it’s fun or interesting paper but plain paper is fine too), pencils/pens, markers, envelopes, and stamps.

The Friendship Map: Create an Action Plan to Weave More Connection into Your Life

In this one-hour interactive workshop, explore platonic connection from multiple angles to identify how you can invite more fulfilling experiences of friendship into your life on a regular basis. Participants should have loose paper or a journal, pencils/pens, and markers.
