A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

Calling all babies 12 months and younger! Come enjoy a play date in a space with our youngest Anythinkers in mind. Soft crawling pillows and toys, foam flooring, and gentle music will set the tone for you and your baby to enjoy each other and other caregivers. To make an inviting space for the babies, we want to limit it to 12 months and younger only, please. Space is limited; registration required.

Come and read to our special listening dogs – they love a good story! Our dogs come from Denver Pet Partners and are specially trained. This is an especially good experience for children and reluctant readers ages 6-12 who are afraid of dogs. Space is limited; please register at the front desk.

We’re going to hatch chickens! A 4-H representative from the CSU Extension Office will be here to place eggs in an incubator and begin our three-week wait for them to hatch. She'll share information about chickens, eggs and the hatching process.
