Jan. 5: Birdfeeders – Winter is the season for birds to get a little hungry if they haven’t migrated. Make a birdfeeder to hang in your yard and enjoy the birds that stay in Colorado over the winter.

Jan. 12: Game SamplerTry one of our games, or bring one of your favorites to share. We’ll have games to interest a variety of ages.

Jan. 19: Pasta Snowflakes – Even if we’re not having a ton of snow, you can still design your own snowflake with painted pasta and Popsicle sticks. Hang a little sparkly glamour in your window and wish for the best.

Jan. 26: Soap Snowmen – It is surprising what you can make when you have a lot of grated white bar soap to work with. We like snowmen, but you may sculpt something else equally wonderful and useful in the shower, too.

Drop in anytime between 9:30-11 am to experience a new interactive approach to story time. Come with your little one (18 months to 5 years) to enjoy one or all of our six stations featuring a book and meaningful activity for you to share together. We’ll show you how to nurture all six of the key skills for reading readiness. Don’t worry if you don’t have time for all six stations; we will change only one a week to give your youngsters the benefits of repetition and you the advantage of being flexible with you time. This is a drop-in activity and does not require registration.
