Anythink celebrates Hour of Code™
For the fourth year in a row, Anythink is celebrating tech education by participating in Hour of Code™. Hour of Code™ is a global movement that takes place during Computer Science Education Week – Dec. 5-11, 2016 – to help promote coding literacy and show that anybody, no matter their age or background, can learn the basics. Anythink has teamed up with Exploration Universe, a locally based science and technology education organization, to provide fun and interactive workshops for all ages throughout the week.
Participation in Hour of Code is one of the ways in which Anythink supports STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) access and education. This international movement is designed to make technology accessible to all, and includes support from public figures like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
