Anythink celebrates Space Month this March
Throughout the month of March, Anythink hosts Space Month, a district-wide celebration of all things space science. With a variety of programs, experiences and special events, Space Month brings the cosmos close to home for people of all ages. With visiting guests from NASA, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, University of Denver’s Chamberlin Observatory, and the Astronomy Club of Front Range Community College, customers can explore everything from rocketry to microgravity with the help of professional astronomers and other experts. A full list of Space Month programs can be found on Anythink’s online events calendar.
“At Anythink, we’re passionate about space science, exploration and informal learning,” says Stacie Ledden, Anythink director of innovations and brand strategy. “We’re excited to share that passion with our community during Space Month through dynamic programming and interactive experiences sure to inspire curious minds of all ages. With space science growing in popularity – coupled with recent discoveries and advancements – we’ll have much to discuss this month at Anythink.”
Space Month is presented in conjunction with “Discover Space: A Cosmic Journey,” an interactive exhibition produced by the Space Science Institute on display at Anythink Huron Street through March 14, 2016. “Discover Space” is an opportunity for community members of all ages to explore the cosmos from space storms to asteroids and the universe beyond.
