Anythink Thornton, located at 8995 Washington Street in Thornton, Colo., will close temporarily for renovations on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at 5:30 pm. The library is tentatively scheduled to reopen in winter 2011.

What customers will find this fall is a revitalized community library. The design concept is to create a comfortable, contemporary loft-inspired look. Renovations will include refurbished interior spaces; improved computer area; enlarged children’s area; quiet reading nooks; new furniture, paint and carpet; and a first-floor community room for customers to utilize.

While Anythink Thornton is closed, customers are urged to visit Anythink Huron Street at 9417 Huron Street or Anythink Wright Farms at 5877 E. 120^th Street – both also in Thornton – for programs and library services. Materials may be returned to any other Anythink location. Holds will be transferred to Anythink Huron Street, unless another location is requested.
