Genné Boggs announced as Anythink Huron Street manager
Genné Boggs is the new manager of Anythink Huron Street. Boggs joined Anythink in 2011 as a concierge at Anythink Perl Mack. In 2013, she was promoted to teen guide at Anythink Huron Street.
Boggs comes to her new position with years of experience in both library and education services. Though her very first job was at a library, Boggs earned her degree in education. She went on to teach children and teens in both public and private school settings, as well as leading adult education courses. At Anythink, Boggs has been instrumental in providing innovative programming and coordinating partnerships with local schools and organizations.
“Anythink is the community’s place to come together,” says Boggs. “It’s my privilege to support and lead the Anythink Huron Street team as we connect people with ideas and each other.”
“Genné Boggs is already a respected anchor in our Anythink Huron Street community,” says Anythink Director Pam Sandlian Smith. “With this promotion, she will help provide both continuity and creativity as we continue to reimagine and refine our library services.”
