Michelle Halstead joins Anythink Foundation Board
Michelle Halstead, a longtime community advocate and City of Commerce City employee, is the latest to join as a member of the Anythink Foundation board. The Anythink Foundation is a nonprofit that supports creativity and innovation throughout Adams County by raising private funds for special programs and projects at Anythink.
Halstead joins the Anythink Foundation with more than 15 years of private- and public-sector experience in public affairs and project management. Currently serving as Director of External Affairs for the City of Commerce City, she helps oversee the city’s capital planning implementation, government affairs and the City Clerk’s office and communications divisions. Her passion for community building, coupled with her expertise and knowledge in local government, provide strong assets to help further the mission of the Anythink Foundation.
“Anythink Libraries is synonymous with innovation, redefining how libraries create a sense of place in service to the community,” says Halstead. “I’m honored to serve on a foundation that supports this mission through the advancement of unique programming.”
“The Anythink Foundation is pleased to welcome Michelle Halstead as a new board member,” says Anythink Foundation Chair Brian Hall. “Her professionalism, regional community expertise and passion are an exciting addition to the board and our library network. We look forward to working with her and using her strengths to promote the mission and efforts of our foundation.”
