Outreach Services Call for Volunteers
Rangeview Library District’s Outreach Services is looking for adult volunteers to assist with its Homebound Delivery program. This program provides library materials to customers throughout Adams County who are unable to access their local libraries.
Delivery locations include individual homes and senior facilities, and shifts are 8:45-11:45 am on Fridays and 12:45-3:45 pm on Wednesdays. Outreach Services is looking for volunteers to work one day a month or more. Our friendly staff is willing to work with interested individuals to see what schedule works best for them.
Duties include lifting, delivering and retrieving library materials. Volunteers may work alongside a library staff person or, at larger facilities, may work individually to visit different residents. Volunteers will have an opportunity to make an impact on people’s lives while also visiting various corners of Adams County. Driving is not required for this opportunity.
