Throughout the month of March, join Anythink for a variety of space-related programs, experiences and special events. Space Month is a district-wide celebration of all things space science and an opportunity for people of all ages to expand their knowledge of the universe. With special guests from NASA, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, University of Denver's Chamberlin Observatory and the Astronomy Club of Front Range Community College, join us in exploring everything from rocketry to microgravity with the help of professional astronomers and other experts. 

An Evening with NASA Astronaut Kjell Lindgren

Join Anythink for a special evening with NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren on Wednesday, March 23, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Anythink York Street. Dr. Lindgren has logged 141 days in space, including more than 15 hours of spacewalking – activities performed outside of the spacecraft. During this time, he’s conducted a variety of scientific experiments, including the “Veggie” lettuce experiment, where U.S. astronauts ate crops grown in orbit for the very first time. Shift your gaze to the sky

Thanks to the Astronomy Club of Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colo., Anythink customers are now able to check out an Orion StarBlast 4.5-inch reflecting telescope. The telescope is now available at Anythink Wright Farms. The telescope isn't eligible for holds, so please call Anythink Wright Farms at 303-405-3200 to check on availability. New to stargazing? "Discover Space: A Cosmic Journey" 

Anythink Huron Street hosted "Discover Space: A Cosmic Journey", an interactive exhibition produced by the Space Science Institute. Though the exhibition recently came down on March 14, we hope everyone was able to have the opportunity to experience this exploration of the cosmos.
