Award-winning journalist Mitch Tobin discusses his new book Endangered in a café-style discussion, allowing participants to interact with Tobin in an informal setting. Discussions will include the Endangered Species Act and current world climatological factors contributing to the rapid extinction of wildlife species in the Southwest. Participants will explore collaborative efforts that could help reverse this devastating trend.

For 15 years, Tobin has been exploring and writing about the American West and its rapidly changing environment. As a reporter, he won numerous awards for his science writing, explanatory journalism, and breaking news coverage. As a consultant, he has helped some of the nation's leading conservation groups and foundations improve their effectiveness.
