One Kind Word Project
"One kind word can warm three winter months.” – Japanese proverb
Share your creativity and compassion with the community as part of Anythink’s One Kind Word Project. From Feb. 8-26, 2021, discover a number of ways that you can brighten someone’s day.
Notes of kindness
Decorate blank cards with personal designs and messages to strangers. Return cards to your local Anythink, and we’ll distribute them to community members in need through our partner organizations. You can also send cards to your family, friends, neighbors or anyone in need of a kind word. Speak with an Anythink staff member for postcards and decorating supplies.

Join us for a three-part interactive virtual workshop about creating fulfilling friendships in adulthood with Kat Vellos, author of We Should Get Together: The Secret to Cultivating Better Friendships and Connected from Afar:
- Thursday, Feb. 11 – Fireside Chat with Kat Vellos
