Students ages 11-15 are invited to learn essential caretaking skills during American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training at Anythink Huron Street on Saturday, May 30. Sponsored by Anythink and BraveHeart, Inc., this all-day course combines interactive, hands-on learning experiences with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for infants and children. Topics covered include step-by-step instructions for feeding, bedtime care, staying safe, age-appropriate activities, first aid and handling emergencies. Attendees can also learn more about how to start and manage a babysitting business. A $10 materials fee is due upon arrival.
