Inside every ukulele is the opportunity for a musical expression. These two-hour sessions will cover the anatomy of a uke, tuning, and basic chord and strumming patterns. Singing and playing is encouraged. Even if you’ve never played music before, you’ll leave this class knowing at least one song – and probably more! Handouts provided along with a songbook filled with songs by Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, The Beatles and more. Graduates will receive their ukulele white belt and may begin sparring (jamming) with other uke players. Ukuleles provided during the session. Appropriate for adults.
