Who knew you could have this much fun at the library? We’ve got great programs for teens in grades 6-12 here at Anythink Washington Street.

  • Sept. 7: TAB – Get involved and let your voice and your opinion about the library be heard through the Teen Advisory Board (TAB).
  • Sept. 14: Microwave Cooking – Create a tasty dish using only the power of a microwave oven.
  • Sept. 21: Teen Wii – Get ready for a little friendly competition and cooperation with our collection of Wii games.
  • Sept. 28: Pony Bead Bracelets – We know you love them, so come make some more bracelets for your friends or for yourself.

Do something different every Wednesday and create something fun with others. Appropriate for students in grades 6-12.

  • Sept. 7: Chocolate cake in a mug – Learn how to bake your own tasty treat in a mug.
  • Sept. 14: Make a sticker – Need to personalize your new school binder?  Come by and try out our new sticker maker.
  • Sept. 21: Make a volcano – Boom! Help us make a volcano.
  • Sept. 28: Decorate a tote bag – Decorate a swishy new tote bag to take home.

We’ll have crafts, games, the Wii, and a chance to hang out with your friends every week. Appropriate for elementary-school-age children.

Talk, laugh, and create cool crafts with other teens at Anythink Commerce City’s after school program.

 

            May 4:  Make your own comic book/TAB meeting

            May 11:  Reading and writing workshop

            May 25:  Read and write with parents (last session until fall)
