Feb. 1: Teen Advisory Board- Come and voice your opinion about the library. Appropriate for students grades 6-12.
Feb. 8: Microwave Cooking- Learn how to cook different recipes with your microwave. Appropriate for students grades 6-12.
Feb. 15: Impromptu- Theater play! Similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway? Appropriate for students grades 6-12.
Feb. 22: Sample Gaming – Sample various board games. Appropriate for students grades 6-12.
Each week features another activity for school-aged kids. Drop by the craft area in the children’s room and enjoy an hour of creative fun.
Feb. 2: Greeting Cards – It’s the month for telling others you care. Use conversation candy hearts and other mixed media to make your own greeting cards.
Feb. 9: Make-a-Maze – Calling all construction engineers! Design and construct mazes for marbles to flow through.
Feb. 16: Gingerbread Houses – We think edible houses are fun anytime. Come decorate one with us.
Feb. 23: Dome Construction – Geodesic domes – just the name sounds cool, doesn’t it? Learn how to make them with simple building materials.
Who knew you could have so much fun at the library? Play video games with other teens or try your hand at different board game with friends. Light refreshments served. Appropriate for students grades 6-12.
