Safely learn the skills required to create a pyrographed (burned) set of wooden coasters. Transfer a pattern using graphite paper, and use simple wood-bruning tools to create a one-of-a-kind gift. Appropriate for students in grades 6-12. Space is limited; registration is required.

What makes our garden grow? You! Join members of Anythink York Street’s Teen Action Board as we work in our garden plot. Help us grow fruits and veggies and participate in teen farmer’s markets. All are welcome, and gardening work can count toward community service hours for graduation. Appropriate for tweens & teens in grades 6-12. No registration required. This event will take place at the community garden adjacent to the Anythink York Street library.

Join us for special programs intended for our youngest Anythinkers – the miniThinkers! We’ll provide a space to spend time with your little one in meaningful ways. The goats are back! Gather the family to enjoy goat-themed stories and activities as we visit with Caramel Apple Farm’s friendly goats. Goats will be outside the library for viewing from 10am to 2pm, with storytime taking place 11am - 11:30am. This event will take place just outside the library. Appropriate for all ages.
