This monthly morning book club has a very different style. We choose a theme for the meeting and you choose the book you want to read based on that theme and everyone discusses their choice. This month’s theme is a book about science or by a scientist. Celebrate our mySummer initiative by learning something new about our incredible world.
Appropriate for adults. No advanced registration necessary.
Join us for a discussion of Tommy Orange’s novel, There There paired with a selection of authentic American Indian dishes from local eatery, Tocabe. Copies of the book will be available for checkout.

We’re back! The Themed Readings Book Club offers a monthly morning book club with a very different style: We choose a theme for the meeting, you choose the book you want to read based on that theme and everyone discusses their choice. Join us for our first meeting and bring a book of your choice on the theme of: reunited (and it feels so good!). Think: Stories about diverged paths and the reunions that make it all worth it.

Unleash your inner baker by picking up a copy of Robin Sloan’s Sourdough: A Novel along with a sourdough starter kit that has everything you need to grow your own sourdough starter. We’ll meet to discuss our thoughts on the novel and show off our baking skills. This program will be held online. A link will be emailed to registered attendees in advance.
