Learn how to use the Cricut design software to make a custom tote bag. We’ll explore the software and how to get your design ready for production at The Studio or at home. A Cricut Joy can be checked out from Anythink for personal use. A take-home kit with supplies will also be available for pick up at The Studio one week prior to the program. Appropriate for ages 10 and up. 

This program will be held online via GoToMeeting. A link to the online meeting room will be sent out via email to registrants. Everyone is welcome to sit in, but please only register once per household.

In this weekly open lab, everyone is welcome to drop in and work on their own projects with the help of our guides. Plans will be available for those that do not have their own project ideas, but creativity is highly encouraged. Open to all ages.

Learn the basics of vector design and how it applies to laser cutting. We’ll go over a basic introduction of Adobe Illustrator and how we can apply our designs to any laser cutter. Using thick copper foil, we’ll design, trace, and emboss a copper relief. We’ll apply a faux patina and frame each finished piece then attach our work to a piece of reclaimed wood.
