The Ant Space is an ant habitat and mesmerizing art installation by Jacob Lemanski on display at Anythink York Street March 9-30. Watch as live ants dig in their space, creating tunnels lit by colorful LED lights. Their digging keeps the scene in perpetual motion, changing at the pace of nature.

Everything – big or small, beautiful or gross – needs a place to live! Learn about the lifecycle and habits of Colorado bugs as we create bug hotels made of mostly recycled materials. Take your hotel home to catch backyard bugs and observe the smaller members of our local ecosystem. Appropriate for kids ages 6-12. Space is limited; registration is required.

Learn all about the world of insects and bugs. We’ll make our own bug catchers, look at insects under a microscope, and even create a buggy treat you can eat. Appropriate for tweens ages 9-12. Space is limited; registration is recommended.
