Anythink and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art have teamed up to bring you an art-making workshop each month. Join a visiting artist and express yourself through a variety of art media, with emphasis on creativity and fun! Appropriate for kids ages 5-12. No registration required.

Blending is boring. We'll introduce unconventional methods to mash and bash fruit into delicious aguas frescas – "cool waters," a mixture of fruit and lime juice perfect for a hot summer day. Appropriate for kids ages 6-12. Space is limited; registration is required.

Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you’ve been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 4-12. Space is limited, registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sign up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first come, first served basis.

Have you ever wondered how a submarine can see above the water? Or maybe you want to peek around a corner or over a wall without anyone seeing you. Embrace excitement and intrigue as you sleuth using a homemade periscope. Appropriate for kids ages 6-12. Space is limited; registration is required.

Make a Colorado map that leads to treasure as we learn about the Gold Rush and pan for gold in water and sand. Check the weight of your gold and decorate a satchel for taking your treasure home. Appropriate for kids ages 5-12. Space is limited; registration is required.
