We'll learn how to make liquids change color, make things disappear and reappear, make troll boogers, and more. Parenting is hard -- you deserve a break! We have two activities to help you relax: one for you and one for the kids. Caregivers will enjoy mingling with other adults while learning about and tasting a variety of cheeses from around the world. Kids will hear a cheesy story, enjoy snacks and do fun cheese-themed games and crafts. Appropriate for caregivers with elementary-age kids. Do you love the gooey cheesy-ness of pizza? The salty pepperoni-ness and the sweet, sweet tomato-ness? How about the crispity crunchity crust? Of course you do. So do we. So let’s have a party – just don’t tell anyone. It’s going to be a secret pizza party! Appropriate for families and all ages. Help us know how many pizzas to order by registering all attendees. Anythink York Street and No Kid Hungry invites families to join us for a free, 7 week course that teaches parents and their children ages 2-12 about cooking and eating healthy as a family on a budget! Class meets once per week (Tuesdays), for 2 hours. Each week your family will make and enjoy a healthy, affordable meal together. Families will also receive a FREE bag of groceries to make the meal again at home! To graduate the class, families must attend at least 5 of the 7 classes. Graduates will receive a guide/recipe book and completion certificate.
