Meet Bear, our volunteer dog. Reading to a therapy dog is a great opportunity for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dog loves to listen and never criticizes. Registration required. Please email kcompton@anythinklibraries.org to sign up for a time slot.

Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you've been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 4-12. Space is limited; registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sing up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first come, first served basis.
