Copper in jars

Using thick copper foil, we’ll design, trace, and emboss a copper relief. We’ll apply a faux patina and frame each finished piece then attach our work to a piece of reclaimed wood. Marma Designs & Sewing School hosts this beginner’s sewing class for kids ages 8-11. Learn the basics of sewing, including how to properly thread and safely use a sewing machine, troubleshooting, layouts, measuring, and fabric cutting. Participants will come out of the class with their own stocking caps and/or fingerless gloves. Fabric and materials will be provided. Bring your own machine or use one of ours.
