This monthly club is a space for kids of all ages to make new friends during a free-build time. LEGOs will be provided. Fun for the whole family.
Miss Andrea from Science on Demand will be on hand to lead us in sheep heart dissections, just in time to get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day. Appropriate for tweens and teens ages 11-18. Space is limited; registration is encouraged.
February is American Heart Month. To celebrate, swing by the library to make a pumping heart model, your own stethoscope, and homemade Valentine’s Day cards. Appropriate for kids ages 5-12. No registration is required.
Battle Bots are back for the spring semester. Refine your circuit bot’s design or take your ideas to the next level by building programming skills and exploring different designs using LEGO Mindstorms. No registration required.
Join us for a wintery twist on an old science experiment favorite. We’ll build snowmen using baking soda, and melt them with vinegar. Appropriate for kids ages 5-12. No registration is required.
Test your engineering skills, learn new skills, battle it out and make new friends. Each participant will make their own robot and test them out in the Battle Royale Arena – a shrinking play field. This multi-player showdown will make for nothing short of a great time. Best for upper-elementary ages, tweens and teens.
Roll-up those sleeves and join us for another edition of shop class at Anythink Perl Mack. This month we’re making pencil stands with carefully supervised use of a power drill and hammers. Best for upper elementary ages and tweens. All skill levels are welcome. Materials will be provided.
Learn basic sewing skills while you make your own to-go version of Tic-Tac-Toe. All participants will be able to take their creations home with them.
