When it comes to teaching photography in The Studio, we focus heavily on the mobile side of the photography spectrum, mostly because phones these days are so portable, accessible, and their camera specs have improved in leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, in one particular area, your mobile phone’s camera still cannot compete with a higher-grade DSLR or mirrorless camera: its option to change lenses to suit your purpose.

1 PM – PARALLAX WITH Denver Open Media
Bring still photos to life with movement. John Aden of Denver Open Mediawill walk you through creating a parallax effect using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop

2 PM – YOUTUBE PRODUCTION WITH The Fast Lane Car
How can you make YouTube work for you? Nathan from The Fast Lane Car will share his journey from creating video reviews to managing a company of 11 people – a true YouTube success story.

As we all know, it’s summer, and ever since the public school system as we know it was instituted some 150 years ago, one of the pillars of childhood has been to escape from the classroom as quickly as possible when the school year ends. With summer vacation comes travels away from home, either as a family group on road trip, to visit relatives, or independently as we head off to summer camps. This year may be the first time your kids are flying solo, which is sure to be a huge, exciting new adventure for them.
