Hear ye, hear ye! Visit ye olde Medieval Faire brought to you by The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and stroll through various booths showcasing medieval wares and tools, and learn about this fascinating time in history. The SCA is an educational group dedicated to the study and recreation of life before 1600 CE. They will host many demonstrations including armored fighting and rapier combat among other historical battle equipment. Artisans will be on hand to demonstrate and talk about their artistic recreations including topics that may range from calligraphy and illumination, to period clothing reconstruction, woodworking, and so much more.

Native American Art: Dream Catchers

The Native peoples of the north have been making dreamcatchers for a very long time. Following the teachings of the spider, the dreamcatcher is said to catch the bad dreams of a night and burn them off in the sunlight so that the person sleeping under the dreamcatcher need not have nightmares. Learn more with traditional Apache artist David Atekpatzin Young about making and decorating a small dreamcatcher.
Join us for this beginner-friendly yoga series the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Instructor Anna Gibson will lead participants through these gentle yoga sessions.
