  • Oct. 5:  TAB – Get involved and let your voice and your opinion about the library be heard through the Teen Advisory Board (TAB).
  • Oct. 12: Ping Pong – You all have been asking for it, so here it is! We’ll play a few friendly games of ping pong and watch some footage of championship matches.
  • Oct. 19: Cake Pops – Enjoy this bite-sized snack while also learning how to make this delicious treat on your own.
  • Oct. 26: Movie Afternoon – Join us for a special two-hour movie afternoon with a PG-13 film. Pizza and drinks provided. You must be 13 years old to attend.

  • Oct. 25: Pillowcase Treat Bags – Use fabric paint and an old pillowcase to make the perfect place to lay your head or to collect lots of candy!

A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up, reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

Share the practice of yoga with your child in a fun, playful space. Families will leave with the tools to continue the yogic journey off of their mats, including songs, games, affirmations in motion, partner poses to practice at home, and resting/savasana exercises. Please bring a yoga mat, towel or small blanket. Appropriate for students in grades K-6 and their caregivers.
