Parents and caregivers with children ages birth-3 are invited to sign up for this five-week series, where new learning and exploration activities are offered. Different childhood experts will be on hand to talk with parents and play with children. Creativity reigns with each new weekly arts and crafts project. All ages welcome.

Each week features another activity for school-aged kids. Drop by the craft area in the children’s room and enjoy an hour of creative fun.

 Apr. 6            Pinwheels – Catch a breeze with a handmade pinwheel.

 Apr. 13          Paper Airplane Contest – Design and fold your own paper airplane and then enter the contest. Maybe your plane will win a prize for longest flight!

 Apr. 20          Frontier Trunk – We’ll explore what life was like on the Santa Fe Trail with this trunk of  activities, clothes and artifacts. Would you have made a good pioneer?

 Apr. 27          Bubble Frames – Create a cool picture frame with recycled materials and your own imagination.
