During this course, you’ll learn the food safety guidelines required to operate a small home-based cottage food business, including storage, transport and sales. Attendees who participate in this course and pass a test will meet the training requirements for the Colorado Cottage Foods Act and earn a 3-year certification. Appropriate for adults. March 4 – Screen Printing with the Ink Lounge – Go behind the scenes of screen-printing and learn how to pull a print.

March 11 – Dig It: Plantable Paper – Construct a deckle and follow the steps to prepare your own seed paper.

March 18 – Dig It: Farm to Table – Work with a gardening expert, Katy Rowland, to create container gardens and then cook up some snacks that you can enjoy once your garden grows.

Experience the magic of oral tradition with the “Legend of the Tree Sisters,” presented by representatives from Museo de las Americas. This engaging legend teaches the importance of Native American horticulture traditions and planting methodology. Following the Native American tradition of using all parts of the corn, participants will help create a corn-husk doll. Appropriate for kids in grades kindergarten through 6. No registration required. This program follows the opening reception of "Roots/Raíces," an exhibition that explores the agricultural roots of Latin America through art and artifacts.
