A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

  • Dec. 28: Cookie-Decorating – Show off your artistic and culinary skills while creating an edible piece of artwork. A design contest will be held at the end of the program.

Join us for our annual winter celebration! There’s all kinds of things you can do, from decorating cards to be delivered to a senior friend from the Westminster Commons, creating a soap snowman to give to someone you love, enjoying an afternoon balloon drop and eating some delicious snacks. Participants are encouraged to bring in at least one non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food bank.
