  • Nov. 1: Bingo 4 Books – Bingo! Join us to play this simple and incredibly fun game to win books and other treats from our varied collection for all ages.
  • Nov. 8: Fun with Numbers – Math can be fun when the right tools are used. Participants are invited to play games that make working with numbers enjoyable for the elementary level.
  • Nov. 15: Meet a Companion Dog – Sophie and Kelo are taking over the program space to show and explain the benefits of companion animals. You’ll even learn how to communicate with animals though sign language!
  • Nov. 22: Thanksgiving Craft – Join us for a fun craft that helps us all to celebrate the holiday season.
  • Nov. 29: Cup Stacking – Strengthen your coordination and ambidexterity, and have a lot of fun in the process. Practice or compete in this fast-paced sport that’s all the rage.

•    Nov. 22: Give Thanks Party: Come and eat and give thanks. Parents welcome.
•    Nov. 29: Wii Game Day: Come and have fun as Mario or Sonic, and play at the Winter Olympics.

A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children up to 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting each early literacy skill. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

  • Nov. 16: Soap-Making – You use it every day, but do you know what really goes into your bar of soap? Join us to learn more about the soap-making process and to, of course, make you own soap to take home.
  • Nov. 23: Recycled Paper Beads – Get creative and stay earth-friendly by making a stylish piece of jewelry from recycled paper beads you roll on your own.
  • Nov. 30: Retro Gaming – Enjoy this blast-from-the past gaming event at which we‘ll play all the best games from the past on our laptop computers.
