A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children up to 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting each early literacy skill. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

Using Publisher, you can create flyers, brochures and newsletters. This user-friendly application allows you to easily input graphics, photos and text to make a high-quality publication. This class requires participants to have intermediate computer skills, such as opening and saving files. All ages welcome. Space is limited; registration required.

Parents and caregivers of children ages birth-3 are invited to sign up for this five-week series, where new learning and exploration activities are offered. Different childhood experts will be on hand to talk with parents and play with children. Participation is limited to 12 families. Be a kid again! On the third Saturday of every month, we host a Family Fun Saturday with an activity and snacks. On Saturday, Rosy Rosebud will be performing as the Autumn Fairy. She has performed for hundreds of libraries and schools throughout the country. All of her shows are extremely interactive, and combine incredible magic and storytelling. Rosy’s shows focus on and inspire the imagination, and it’s the audience that ultimately makes the magic happen! We’ll have birthday cake on hand as well. Space is limited; registration required.

• Nov. 23: Recycled Paper Beads – Get creative and stay earth-friendly by making a stylish piece of jewelry from recycled paper beads you roll on your own.
• Nov. 30: Retro Gaming – Enjoy this blast-from-the past gaming event at which we‘ll play all the best games from the past on our laptop computers.
