Spring has Sprung!  Let’s pretty up those planters.  Using various paint techniques, Emily from Betterish will help us decorate a terracotta pot and you will walk away with a package that includes your very own succulent for you to plant.  The succulent and painted pot is a great gift or for you to brighten your patio.

Join us to practice speaking in both English and Español with your fellow community members. Learn useful tips for basic conversation in your new language, and enjoy sharing what you already know. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

Did you know you can contribute to science by taking a pictures of the natural world around you? This spring, submit pictures of the flora or fauna that you find in your own backyard or nature walks. The iNaturalist app shares your data with the science community. Best of all, experts report back to you and let you know what you’ve submitted in the event that you are unsure of a species. Join us as we install and learn how to use all of the benefits of this informative nature application.

Vermiculture – worm composting – is an easy way to make your own nutrient-rich fertilizer while reducing food waste. Learn about the wormy, squirmy ins and outs of developing a vermiculture system as you build your own to take home. Part of Anythink’s Dig It series. Best for teens through adults.
