Explore and experience various approaches to meditation, including walking, progressive muscle relaxation, focused attention, mantra, guided, including yoga, nidra, chakra, and visualization. Find a way to prepare for and sit in meditation that works for your mind and body. No prior experience or fitness level requirements. Wear comfortable clothing and (optionally) bring your own zafu, blanket or bench. Yoga mats and chairs will be provided. Hosted by Carol Wade. Registration is recommended but not required. Anythink York Street offers a monthly morning book club with a very different style: we choose a theme for the meeting, and you choose the book you want to read based on that theme. Each person discusses their choice. It’s a fun way to discover new authors and books while reading a title that speaks to you. Bring your pick and a morning beverage, and we’ll talk books. The GrowHaus is a nonprofit indoor farm, marketplace and educational center with a mission of providing a neighborhood-based food system for its community.
