Join national recording artist Wayne Watts for his good-vibes-only social music jam. Collaborate with Wayne and other teens to create a unique electronic music track and then enjoy the party! Join us for free, fun cooking classes and free groceries! Cooking Matters will teach families how to cook delicious and affordable meals at home. At each class, your family will cook and eat a healthy dinner, and receive a bag of groceries to take home so you can make it again. You’ll also receive a book with nutritional information, recipes, and more. Appropriate for caregivers and kids ages 6-12. This program is a series of classes taking place Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 pm starting April 2 and running through May 14. Please plan on attending at least five of the seven sessions. Space is very limited; registration is required and holds your spot for the full series. Please register each family member so we know how much food to have.

Celebrate Women’s History Month by creating a memory box with vintage cigar boxes.  Local artist Inez Sanchez will be supporting in the experience of making vintage cigar memory boxes, all materials needed will be provided.  Feel free to bring pictures or images of important women in your life or role models that you would like to add to your boxes.  Registration is required.

The Battle Royale series kicks-off this month with a DIY bug robot showdown! Each participant will make their own bug robot, then test them out in the Battle Royale Arena - a shrinking play field. Test your engineering skills, battle it out, learn new skills and make new friends! This multi-player showdown will make for nothing short of a great time!

How do artifacts help to tell the story of history? We tend to think of history as centered on the lives of influential people, but in this workshop we’ll examine the past through the life of things. Working as historical detectives, we’ll piece together the past by examining artifacts that clue us into Adams County history. Part of the Perl Mack Museum Project, a year-long program to develop a pop-up museum exhibit by, for, and about our community.
