Learn about contemporary artists, hang out with other teens and create something spectacular, all from the comfort of your house! Introducing our new virtual Teen Art Club in partnership with Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA). Each month, we learn about a different artist who exhibited at the museum, and work on a unique art project with BMoCA educators. In March, we’ll focus on Stacey Steers, a Colorado-based artist who creates amazing collage stop motion animations and installations. We’ll collaboratively produce a digital storytelling project. Appropriate for teens.
Art supplies are limited and will be available starting the week of March 8 at Anythink Brighton. This program will be held online. A link to the online program will be emailed to participants.

About BMoCA
BMoCA inspires creativity and fosters community through contemporary art. Throughout its history, BMoCA has been a vibrant cultural cornerstone in its community. Each year, the museum presents an ambitious exhibition schedule and an innovative series of educational programs for audiences of all ages and interests. By welcoming diverse aesthetics and perspectives, BMoCA provides an open forum for dialogue and an investigation of contemporary art through the creative expression of ideas.
BMoCA’s 7 unique education outreach programs engage audiences with creative and contemporary art experiences with a focus on ensuring participants gain knowledge about the themes and techniques of contemporary art, as well as appreciate their own unique abilities to create art. This education program is free due to the generosity of the SCFD.
