According to a new U.S. regulation, certain people who came to the United States as children and meet several key guidelines may request consideration of deferred action for a period of two years, and may be eligible for employment. This policy is known as Deferred Action for Childhood (DACA). You’re welcome to attend this informational session presented by McGuire Law to learn more details about this new regulation as a permanent resident.

The four-week course includes instruction, class discussion and writing exercises and is designed to give you helpful hints on how to successfully complete National Novel Writing Month. Children in elementary school are invited to read to our wonderful dog volunteers. They come once a month on the third Saturday. It’s an excellent program for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dogs love to listen and they never criticize.
